Today's thoughts

Well, if you try to follow a blog from me, you probably expected something last week. Funny story (not really). On Sunday of last week, I thought about grabbing the recorder on the way out so I would be ready to upload the sermon. I promptly forgot about getting the recorder on Sunday, and as I worked through my list of things to do on Monday last week, I went back to get it. It was not at the soundboard. I had two choices. One, I had disconntected it and forgotten where I had put it, or two, someone else had taken it for something. I decided to wait on the sermon file and the blog.

Fast forward to Wednesday night. I checked with everyone and was told that the recorder wasn't at the church when the service began on Sunday. Immedieately I knew what had happened. I had forgotten the recorder at home from uploading the previous sermon. Thus there is no sermon in the archive for 2/20/2011 because I forgot to return the recorder. Since I didn't have a sermon to upload and the week was over half over, I opted not to blog about my error and the missing file last week. Oh well, I guess it happens to all of us at some point, I just wish it would slow down happening to me. I am really getting tired of walking into rooms and forgetting why I am there.
