SUNDAY SCHOOL MINISTRIES (SDMI)
The Nazarene denomination has created the acronym SDMI for use when referring to the ministries of Sunday School. The acronym stands for Sunday School & Discipleship Ministries International .
The Centralia Church of the Nazarene has an active SDMI program with classes and activites for all ages. Classes begin at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday morning. Bible stories, activities, and video presentations are all utilized in our classes to help in the instruction process. While we have a full range of classes for children, we also have two types of classes for adults. One of the adult classes is targetted at using a standard Biblical studies approach, while the other type of class is more contemporary issues oriented. Feel free to visit each type of class and see what meets the needs in your life.
Beyond Sunday School, the CCOTN offers opportunities for both children's quizzing and teen quizzing. The children's quizzing program is conducted on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m., while the adult Bible study program is being held.
